The wine cooler became a necessity for any sommelier enthusiast. There are many benefits of having a wine cooler and many features depending on the class of the wine cooler. Some wine coolers feature vibration control, dual climate control for white and red wines, proper humidity level inside the unit to circulate air and discourage mold andmildew just to name a few. Others are as big as refrigerators and as small as microwaves. The more complicated the wine cooler, the bigger the problems it unit may have. From our experience, the most common problem is the temperature control in the wine cooler.
If the wine cooler temperature is too warm, check the temperature control. Make sure that the wine cooler has been set properly. Next, try to stabilize the cooler by turning the temperature control to a lower level for a few hours. Make sure that the door is properly closed and that the seal is not warn out. Also remember to check the electrical outlet to ensure that your unit is connected.
If the wine cooler temperature is too cold, check the temperature control. Make sure that the wine cooler has been set properly. Next, try to stabilize the temperature by adjusting the temperature control to a warmer level for a few hours. Check to see if the cooler is standing on a level surface. If not, then move the cooler to a more level location.
